The goal of pressure therapy (wave therapy) is to get rid of redundant lymphatic fluid and excreta accumulated in the tissues through the lymphatic system. During treatment with the Mark III pressure therapy device, the patients put their legs into an appliance resembling large boots, with the abdomen also wrapped around a similar appliance. The machine pumps air into the system. The device regulates the pressure on limbs, diverting fluid into the capillaries, thus increasing the volume of circulatory fluid and arterial pressure. During the treatment, the device makes a wavelike massage from the legs to the abdomen, which is very pleasant and relaxing. Lymphatic massage is mainly used for treating oedema and eliminating lymphatic fluid. Pressure therapy helps the re-absorption of fluid between the tissues and toxins (toxic substances). It enhances the flexibility of the tissues and restores their durability. Combined with our body-shaping treatments (e.g., TriPollar radiofrequency treatment), pressure therapy increases their overall effectiveness and helps to remove fat and excreta through the lymphatic system.
